Discounts
If you fall into any of the following categories, you will receive a discount of JPY 50,000 on the package fee.
- For students who apply for a preparation course at the same time(6 months or more).
- Those who have used our online tutoring for more than six months.
※Our support fee is free for EF Academy. Discounts are available only for customers introduced through us, so we advise to go through us rather than applying directly.

Monthly membership fees are used to support the following: available from one month and you can take a break during periods when there are no lessons.
Chat support
- Can ask questions about homework and other questions they don’t understand outside of class in writing or pictures (questions about school lessons and homework are also possible)
Career guidance by consultants
- High school subject choices (A-level, IB)
- University entrance examinations (e.g. school selection and application)
- Choosing a school, scholarship, etc.
Assigning a tutor
- When there is a change or addition to the subject
- When changing schools or grade levels and curriculum changes
- When the teacher is not a good fit

We are a community of teachers with diverse backgrounds. We use this strength to our advantage, so that when students move up a grade and change their curriculum of study, or when they are considering applying for a scholarship to go to university, they can talk to us and we will find the best teacher for them at the right time.

Transfers from accounts outside Japan are also accepted.
Frequently asked questions about online tutoring
Q. I want to take a break from classes for a while, do I have to keep paying the monthly membership fee?
No. Monthly membership fees are only charged for the months in which classes are held, so there are no fees for periods when classes are not being held.
Q. Does the class ticket have an expiry date?
No, class tickets do not expire.
If you miss a class for a while with a ticket remaining, you will be able to digest it from the remaining hours when you resume. Tickets can also be shared between siblings.
Q. I am worried that I will not be able to use the support provided.
Parents with young children may ask questions. Students below primary school age often do not have that much career advice, but they actively use the chat support.
For example, you can use it to ask your teacher to correct your essay when you have free time before your next class, or to ask questions about parts of your school homework that you don’t understand.
