Tutor’s comment
Having attended an international school in Japan and then studying abroad in the UK during high school, I use my bilingual background to guide students clearly towards the right answers. I believe that when learning is fun, students can truly think and internalize knowledge rather than just memorizing. With support, IB and GCSE results can greatly improve, so I aim to deliver structured and student-focused teaching.

I have experienced both the IB and A Level curricula, and can provide guidance in English Literature, Economics, and general English preparation, as well as LNAT preparation for UK Law School entry. Tutor’s comment
I entered Hiroo Gakuen through the general entrance examination in junior high school, and from high school, I joined the International Course and studied the AP program. I am currently studying at LSE. Because of this experience, I fully understand the challenges of aiming for admission to overseas universities. Based on my own experience, I focus mainly on teaching essay writing for humanities subjects and providing detailed instruction in social science subjects, which are taught in a very different way compared to Japan. In addition, I can offer a wide range of support, from casual consultations about university choices and career paths, to guidance on writing personal statements required for UCAS, as well as interview practice for IELTS and TOEFL. There may be various barriers, including language, but let’s overcome them together step by step!

Tutor’s comment
After spending most of my elementary, junior high, and high school years in Japan, I spent the last two years of high school in the United States. Although I initially lacked confidence in my English, I overcame language and cultural barriers by developing effective study methods that worked best for me. Valuing both the frustration of not being able to do something and the joy of improvement—feelings I personally experienced—I aim to provide guidance that supports each student individually. I look forward to working with you!
